Calgary Skyline

Last week I went to Calgary, Alberta for a Christmas event. There was going to be a traditional gift giving so I was encouraged to do more of these.

I researched the skyline of this lovely city and created this piece.

  1. Beth,

I had a thought this morning after we talked. You spoke about the different identities you’ve inhabited; children’s book illustrator, artist, portraitist. My question for you is this: Why do you have to choose? Could you see yourself as a person who is all of these things and chooses to focus in one area at any given time? Just wondering…

    1. I will have to think on this. I may be giving up one of the above, we will have to continue this conversation after the new year. I think I push myself to choose so I don’t have the distraction of too many hats to wear.:) As always, thank you for always being there!

What do you think?
