Rendering

A rendering can be defined as a translation, depiction or melting down of fat.

The architectural renderings I have been working on for a friend in real estate could be all of those. I have depicted my own translation of what I think can be boiled down to be the most important elements in a home’s architecture and surroundings.

It has been interesting to study these lovely homes and capture the essence of what makes each an individual. I believe most people think of their homes as having a soul. They weather the storms with us.

They shelter us from wars and fear.

We take shelter in our homes, they are our refuge.

They are our friends and part of our family. It is sad to leave them, exciting to move to a new one.

Nice to take a break in a friend’s home. Put up our feet and relax and get a fresh perspective on where we have come from and where we are going.

  1. These are wonderful Beth–I especially enjoy the house at Chenonceaux, the German chapel and the great contrast between that and the very charming North Caroline porch.

I like the hand you’re developing with your materials and would love to see these in a show.
